A lot of health and fitness junkies, as well as foodies enjoy a good bowl of oatmeal in the morning — myself included. With so many types of oatmeal and flavors available today, it is hard to believe oatmeal lovers need another oatmeal recipe, but variety is the spice of life: right.
To begin, steep 1 chai tea-bag in a 1/2-cup of boiling water for 3-minutes, making tea. Combine the tea with a 1/2-cup of low-fat milk and a 1/2-cup of quick oats into a microwave bowl. Set your microwave on the high setting for 90 to 120 seconds, and remove when done. Top with 1/2-cup of frozen sliced peaches, thawed, 1-tbsp of chopped pecans, and 2-tsp of maple syrup. Feel free to replace the pecans with walnuts or any other nut that suits your fancy.
Enjoy.
